Bart Villa Apartments has another 12 evacuated tube panels installed on their roof.  This is in addition to the 16 panels Mann Plumbing installed two years ago. Pleased with the first system the owners of Deer Park Management wanted more.   

With a grand total of 840 tubes heating water the solar power way the system can offset 56 tons of greenhouse gas every year.  This is equivalent to planting 1872 trees, or removing 7 SUV's that travel 12,000 miles/year, every year.

Apartment dwellings are notoriously inefficient.  In a college city like Bloomington,IN they are a key component to reducing unnecessary energy consumption.  Deer Park Management is applauded for its committment to the resourceful development of clean energy systems.
