Bloomington: Indiana University's First PV Array

The installation of the first photovoltaic array on the Bloomington Indiana University campus.

This 2 kW array is housed on top of the Indiana Memorial Union.  It is the result of the diligent efforts of the Coal Free IU student group who won a grant to fund the array.

A monitoring system is included with the array.  The students will be able to view the output of the system and the corresponding carbon reductions due to utilizing this clean resource.

MPI Solar was able to get the panels to the roof, although there was no direct access.  We can find a variety of solutions for your energy needs, from electricity to heating and cooling.
