Environmentally conscious consumers now have a choice among dining establishments that use solar energy to power their operations. Nick's installed 6 evacuated tube panels on their roof. The system is projected to reduce potential emissions by 12 tons of CO2 per year.
Nick's has been a popular spot for several generations of Bloomingtonians and IU students and faculty. While upholding its traditions in Bloomington's culture it is also pushing the frontier of clean energy. The racking for the panels was constructed by Mann Plumbing Inc./MPI Solar.
